Oklahoma

If you love diversity, then Oklahoma is the state to visit. Oklahoma is home to prairies, small mountain ranges, rivers, creeks, and forests. Oklahoma has a long history of being home to both Oklahoma Territory and Indian Territory and home of the famous ?land run.

When it comes to entertainment, Oklahoma has theme parks including Frontier City in Oklahoma City, the capital of Oklahoma, several unique museums which include the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, and the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa.

Children enjoy many of the different attractions dotting the Oklahoma countryside such as the Oklahoma City Zoo, the Orr Family Farm, Science Museum of Oklahoma, and of course Celebration Station, where children can enjoy mini-gold and pizza.

For those that love the great outdoors, southeastern Oklahoma offers Robbers Cave State Park for canoeing, fishing, and horseback riding; Spiro Mounds has historical artifacts of the Native Americans that once called Oklahoma home with many descendants still living in the area.

As you can see, Oklahoma truly has something for everyone from indoor activities to many wonderful outdoor adventures.
