Tennessee

Tennessee is home in the southeastern United States sharing borders with Arkansas, Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia, Missouri, Mississippi, Virginia, and North Carolina. The state is very beautiful with a wide array of scenic countryside from hills to valleys to the Appalachians. Temperatures during the summer months are usually around 90 degrees Fahrenheit and winter months on average are around 48 degrees Fahrenheit.

The most famous city in Tennessee is Nashville, which is also the capital of the state. Nashville is home to the Nashville Opera, The Tennessee Performing Arts Center, Schermerhorn Symphony Center, Nashville Ballet, Music City Drum & Bugle Corps, and the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. Country Music is one of the most popular attractions in all of Tennessee and is home to the Ryman Auditorium, which was the location of the Grand Ole Opry until 1974 when it was moved to its own location. Other country music attractions in Nashville include the Belcourt Theatre and the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum.

Of course, there are many other attractions throughout the state such as the Chattanooga Zoo, Earthquake the Ride, Dollywood & Splash Country, Crockett Tavern Museum, and the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum.
