Utah

Utah is located in the Western United States and shares borders with Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico. Utah is mostly made up of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints around 60% which influences the daily life as well as the culture of this state. The terrain of Utah is diverse with sand dunes, pine forests, valleys, and mountains. The regions of Utah are divided into the Great Basin, Rocky Mountains and the Colorado Plateau. Utah has an arid to semi-arid climate with extreme temperatures. During the winter months the average temperature is 30 degrees to 55 degrees Fahrenheit while in summer the temperatures on average are from 85 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Utah is home to many wonderful attractions such as national parks, golf courses, ski resorts, and more. A few of the most popular places to visit in Utah include Arches National Park, Castle Country, Capitol Reef National Park, and Zion National Park. Other great things to see include the Red Butte Garden in Salt Lake City, Natural Bridges National Monument in Lake Powell, Grand Staircase National Monument in Excalante, and Gorgoza Park close to Park City.
