Maryland

 

Maryland is home in the northeastern part of the United States sharing borders with West Virginia, Virginia, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Maryland offers a wide array of scenic countryside from sandy dunes to rolling hills and from forests to mountains. When checking out all the great things to do and see while Maryland you will have to look at the various regions which include Western, Capital, Central, Southern, and Eastern Shore.

In the western part of Maryland, you will enjoy visiting Cumberland, Deep Creek Lake, Frostburg, and Hagerstown. In the Capital area, you can visit Anacostia, Bethesda, College Park, and Frederick. Aberdeen, Annapolis, Columbia, and Baltimore City are home in the Central section while Chesapeake Beach, Leonardtown and St. Mary's City are found in the Southern sections. On the Eastern Shore, you will find such placed as Berlin, Assateague, and Cambridge. When it comes to activities the entire family will love, you will find museums, nature preserves, and cruises to name a few great activities. Maryland is also home to various events throughout the year including the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, TriState Relief Sale, The Great Dinosaur Mystery, and the American Throne: Royal Seating for a Democratic Venue, and more.
