New York

New York is home in the northeastern US sharing borders with New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Ontario. New York experiences all four seasons and with the diverse countryside, each season brings its own beauty from fields of flowers in the spring to snow capped mountains in the winter months. The eastern section of New York is home the Great Appalachian Valley with the northern part of the valley being home to Lake Champlain. Just west of the valley you will find quite a bit of wilderness in the Adirondack Mountains while the southern part of the state is home to the Allegheny Plateau, making New York a very unique and marvelous place to visit when it comes to diversity in scenic views.

Even though, New York does have all four seasons, winter is long and cold with temperatures dropping to as low as -13 degrees Fahrenheit. Summers are usually mild with temperatures in the normal range of 59 degrees to 82 degrees Fahrenheit.

New York State has many wonderful opportunities from city life to mountain adventurous according to the part of the state you wish to visit. A few of the great adventures awaiting you include Times Square, Central Park, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Statue of Liberty, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, alone.
